Emily graduated from the University of Northampton with a First class honours degree in Podiatry. Knowing she wanted to pursue a career which helped others, she found her feet within Podiatry. She enjoys all areas but particularly enjoys routine foot care, biomechanics and paediatrics. As a Podiatrist Emily is qualified to perform and provide advice on nail surgery and methods of verruca treatment.
With an interest in many Sports from a young age and being part of a local running club, Emily enjoyed learning about lower limb biomechanics and its importance of how it can impact the back and upper body. During her studies, Emily worked for a Podiatrist in a Running shop, analysing customers’ gait and recommending shoes accordingly. She also carried out undergraduate research identifying whether certain running shoe properties could potentially have an impact on foot pressures and injuries.Back to team page
