Patient protection – what to expect when you visit the Abbeyfields Clinic
We want to support you in having an effective and safe experience whilst visiting the clinic, and although some of the measures set out below may seem frustrating and time consuming, they are necessary in ensuring yours and others safety.
For your safety and the safety of others we kindly request that you:
- Cancel your appointment if you feel unwell, have a temperature or persistent cough, or have been in contact with someone suspected of having Covid-19.
- On arrival at the clinic – wait in your car to be collected by your practitioner. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING BY YOURSELF.
- Wear a mask to your appointment if you have one. We can supply you with one if necessary.
- Limit the number of items you bring into clinic with you. E.g. One small bag
- If you have any concerns as to risks of infection outweighing your need for a face to face consultation, please let us know and we can organise a remote / telephone appointment instead.
As a clinic we will:
- Take your temperature in the car park (contactless).
- Be wearing appropriate PPE as per guidelines.
- No longer be providing drinking water so please bring your own.
- We continue to accept card payments and contactless variants.
