I graduated from University of Essex in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Sports Therapy Degree.
During my final year at university, I worked in the onsite Sports Therapy Clinic assessing and diagnosing injuries as well as creating rehabilitation plans for patients of all ages. These varied from students, staff members and individual’s playing competitive sports.
I have gained experience at The Abbeyfields clinic overseeing physiotherapy and sports massage sessions. I have secondly gained vast experience in event settings including the Brentwood Marathon, Colchester half Marathon and a charity football match at Chelsea Football Stadium, providing pre-and post event sports massage, stretches and aftercare advise, which is where I found a strong interest in sports massage and taping.
I enjoy working with participants of all ages and from varying occupations including office or sporting environments. I believe in sourcing the main problem of the injury or issue and then creating a plan with the patient to support their return to physical capability. This may be daily activating at work or at home, returning to a physical exercise, or returning to sport competitively. I thrive to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to all patients.
I enjoy participating in netball at my local netball club, swimming and cooking with friends and family in my spare time.
I am a member of the Society of Sports Therapists.Back to team page
