We welcome lead NHS Podiatrist, Mr Dale Halford
From February we are pleased to announce the addition of Mr Dale Halford – Podiatric Foot Surgeon. He will be consulting on Thursday evenings by appointment only. He will be undertaking a number of minor operative procedures and steroid injections also. He is currently lead NHS Podiatrist for the region and has joined us to enable seeing private patients from Newmarket through to Sudbury and Thetford. He does not require a GP referral but if you are insured we recommend you do so to qualify your insurance conditions.
He is covered by most insurers to treat Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis with our new Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy. After using it a number of times and comparing the evidence he now chooses this procedure over alternatives such as steroid injections and surgery as this is non-invasive and requires very little down time.
